Sales Competency Manager, Southeast Asia (CEJB 18 105)

Job Description:

Our client is a global Industrial Automation company and currently, they are searching for a Sales Competency Manager, Southeast Asia who is responsible for the improvement and enhancement of the knowledge and competence level of the sales force in Southeast Asia sales team.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the implementation of new strategic training initiatives in sales 
  • Regional-level coordinator for training delivery activities (including an annual training plan)
  • Manage the comprehensive training cycle including assessing needs, planning, developing, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of results
  • Identification and prioritisation of local training needs in sales and yearly recommendation for the development of new sales training packages from the cluster perspective
  • Fostering a coaching culture in the sales organization and enable FLM to assess and coach their subordinates
  • Closely collaborate with local and global HR department and actively manage the interface
  • Responsible for the selection of local sales trainers and the implementation of trainer quality standards for sales aspects 
  • Conduct selected trainings independently
  • Ensure that local trainers are assisted and supported in all their responsibilities

     

Job Requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration, engineering or comparable qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience with proven experience in competence management function or equivalent
  • Complex planning and scheduling skills and alignment with multiple stake holders
  • Advanced employee development skills and good understanding of training & coaching
  • Ability to collaborate globally, and locally, across BU's, divisions, and departments to drive cohesive development practices
  • Advanced program and project management skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Able to communicate confidently with people from various backgrounds; empathic
  • Fluent in spoken and written English is crucial
  • Ability to work independently
  • Readiness for business trips within Southeast Asia
